Welcome to OnPar - The revolutionary golf handicap tracker and game analysis website...
Golf ball
Once you have selected the golf course you
played at you will be asked to complete a score
card, much the same as you do when you're out
there playing. Entry of your scores is simple,
copy them straight from your paper scorecard
and use the <TAB> key to skip to the next
field. Be sure to enter the date played, the tee
you used on the day, whether it was summer
or winter as well as the prevailing weather
conditions. Remember, the more accurately you
enter the data, the more accurate the analysis
and statistics you will get back from the system!
Having completed your scorecard you will now be
able to enter details of each shot you took. This
will allow you to break down your round and
analyse what you're doing well and which areas
of your golf game need attention. Once again
it is very important that you take the time to
do this properly and enter the information
accurately to get the most out of the system.
For the best results you will need to enter
details of the club used, where the ball landed
and finally the distance it travelled. Once you
have done this, OnPar will calculate the rest!

Do you need to carry all of those clubs in your bag?

Do you really need that 4 & 5 iron? Perhaps a rescue club
would be more useful? OnPar tracks your club usage and
shows you which clubs you favour and how often you
use them. This can be particularly useful for customising
your golf bag appropriately to the courses you play.
Once OnPar knows which clubs you do and don't use it
can optimise the shot details entry form and save you
time by removing unnecessary drop-down options. In
addition to the above benefits, the chart can give you
valuable guidance with regards your equipment
expenditure.
This graph will quickly show if you hook it, slice it, spray it
around or knock it straight down the middle. We all know
that driving as a discipline is the key to a good start on
any hole. You and your golf Pro/Coach can use this
chart to monitor your progress and help you improve
your driving accuracy and consequently your golf game.
The chart is very simple to understand: the middle bar
represents 'fairway centre'. The bars to the left represent
positions that are 'left of centre' and vice-versa.

Remember, all the charts and graphs you see in OnPar
can be printed at the touch of a button so that you can
easily take them to show your Pro or Coach.
